Hi - I'm also a descendant of Bryan & Elizabeth Fanning, through their son David b. abt 1725. Does anyone know who his wife was? David's son - Col. David Fanning b. 1755 Amelia Co, VA d. 3-14-1825 Digby, Digby Co, Nova Scotia married Sarah Carr b. 1766 VA. Their son Ross Curry Carr Fanning b. 5-30-1791 St. John, New Brunswick married Sarah "Sally" Woodman.

Col. David Fanning was a Loyalist during the Rev. War and was packed off to New Brunswick and from their he took his family to Digby, Nova Scotia. Have lots of info on this branch to share.
