I have the following in my family:
Sarah Amanda Preston born abt.1888 in Calhoun
County, Illinois; parents were: William Preston and Barbara Ann Fannings.
Sarah Amanda married Andreas (Andrew)
Peter Wintjen May 16, 1906 in Calhoun Co., Ill. They had the following children:
Retha Leona Wintjen; b: 12-3-1906
Laura Amanda Wintjen; b: unk.
James Wintjen; b: 12-22-1908
Lloyd Wintjen; b: abt. 1921 or 1922
Randolph Wintjen; b: unk.
Norma Wintjen; b: unk
Nettie Wintjen; b: unk

I also have another Preston on the same side of the family (appears two brothers married two Preston sisters) and that is:
Lillie Melvina Preston; b: unknown
married John Wintjen in Calhoun, Co. Ill.
They had the following children:
Everett Wintjen; b: 8-23-1905
Lucille wintjen; b: 9-13-1915
Rosie Wintjen; b: unk.
Nellie Wintjen; b: unknown
and Barbara Wintjen; b: unknown
I guess the names: Melvina and Sarah especially stood out.
