Rueben B. Fanning was my gg grandfather. The information that I have is he was born 1804 Va, married Patsy Lineberry daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (daughter of John Fanning) Lineberry on March 5, 1828 in Giles Co. Va then married Mary S. Owen april 7, 1844 Linn Co. Mo. I show that the following children were from marriage to Patsy: Jacob b. 1830 est in Indiana married July 6, 1851 Sullivan Co. Mo. to Catherine Hamlin; Mary b. 1831 est Va. Wythe Co.; Martha Jane b. 1838 est Va Lee Co. married Feb 23, 1857 John M allred; From spouse #2, Mary S. Owen the following children: Rebeca E. b. April 20, 1846 Sullivan Co. Mo., Married Oct 18, 1861 John Martin second husband Isaac C. Spenser;
Ruben b. April 14, 1849 Sullivan Co. Mo. Married Agnes George Sept 1, 1870 Sullivan Co. Mo. Died Feb 9, 1917 buried Coffman Cemetery Sullivan Co. MO.; David W. (my g-grandfather) b. 1850 Sullivan Co. Mo Married Nancy J. Carmack Feb 23, 1886.; John born 8/1852 or 53 Sullivan co. Mo. Married Abigail Spencer July 13, 1874.
