"Personally appeared in open Court Nathan Fannon and Samuel Brannon who being duly sworn depose and say that James Fannon, Mary Reed wife of Robert Reed who was Marry Fannon,William Fannon, Alpha Fannon, John Fannon, McKinsey Fannon and Alfred Fannon are the only heirs and legal representatives of Jacob Fannon dec. late a private soldier in the Army of the United States, that said Jacob Fannon was single and unmarried at the time of his death and that the above named persons are his only brothers and sisters.

From documents in this Office,Jacob Faning a private of Captain Whites Company of the 7th Regiment of Infantry appears to have enlisted on the 19th of July 1813 for 5 years and to have died in the service of the United States on 7th of September 1814.Vide Rolls of the Company in the accounts of Elisha T. Hall Regimental Paymaster.

This would be son of Nathan Fannon b abt 1772 grandson of Chestnut Creek John.
His father is not mentioned in living heirs or his mother.Nathan Jr. is not identified as a brother.Perhaps that was understood as he was presenting the petition but he was 17 years old.
