Hi, Betty. Mary Garland Wages said in 1989 that she met Blanche Fowler who said she was a cousin to my Ann Eliza Fanning who married my Seward Bud Wages at the house of Joseph Fanning (her father with her mother being a Matilda (Cox)) Oct. 16, 1882). Edna Christie who lived in Salt Lick, Ky in 1989 was Blanche's daughter. Kitty Crady said you were a cousin to me.I just cannot find out how my Joseph Fanning and your Issac Fanning and a Richard Fanning all of Bath Co., KY in the 1860 census and the 1870 census for Mudlick Precinct in Bath Co., KY were definitely related. Were there any Bible records in Bath Co., Ky for Isaac C. Fanning? Any proof of how Issac came to be in Bath Co., Ky or where he was in 1850?
My Joseph Fanning seemed to have all girls so there are no suggestions of his father's name for any sons for his family. Ann Eliza Fanning Wages was deceased by 1892, and the 1890 census is gone. Anna Eliza's husband had married his 2nd of 4 wives by 1900 and had more children until 1938.The 2 sosn that Ann Eliza Fanning Wages ahd were anmed Arthur and Lawrence/Lornce, so that is no help.I am jsut totally stuck on this Fanning line prior to 1860 in Bath Co., KY.Any suggestions?Do you know Edna Christie or Blanche Fowler?Would they ahve heard of any Fanning Bible records/ Someone must know something or why do they keep saying they are cousins to my Ann Eliza Fanning?
