Descendants of Welcome Fanning b. ca. 1799 of Wilkes Co., Ga. and died in 1873.
Attention:
I am offering a free 37 marker DNA test through the Fanning DNA Project to any male Fanning who can document his lineage to Welcome Fanning of Wilkes Co., Ga. who married 1st Louisa Colley and 2nd Mary Elizabeth Heard.
This is a great opportunity to discover the genetic roots of this branch of the Fanning family since the parentage of Welcome's father is not conclusively proven.
This offer will expire on December 30, 2008 due to the expiration of special terms from the testing company on December 31, 2008.
Since I am paying for the test personally, I reserve the right to refuse any and applications for any reason.
Your lineage must be documented in order to qualify for the free testing.
You must be willing to share the results with those participating in the Fanning DNA Project.
