There were several James's in South Carolina area at that time and separating the records is difficult. The James I am talking about is not the same one Dorothy is referring to. This James was born ca. 1715 and his first son James was b. abt. 1737. This James is the #18 on the Y-results list. Marsha was the contributor and she says he was born 1715-1720. That fits.
