I am new to this. I am looking for any information on my Dad's family. I know very little of my Grandfather or my Grandmother's family as they rearly talked to my Father, Bille Ray (the Army changed it to William Ray) about life in Berryville Arkansas. I am unaware of my Grandfather talking about any of his siblings or his parents, my great grandparents. My Grandfather was Albert George Fanning, married to Nancy Ophila Grim. On my Grandfather's birth certificate, his father and mother were Yell and Tennesse Newton Fanning. Is this the same person as Archibald Yell Fanning? I have been to Berryville, Arkansas where my Grandfather was born and found some items that are confusing. I believe my Great Grandfather would be Abraham, married to Rhoda Biggerstaff. My Father always said they moved to California when he was 5 years old. He was born in 1924. His siblings are Govie, who died as an infant, Kenneth Olin, Carson Neal, my Dad, Billie Ray all born in Berryville and a younger brother, Albert Glen, born in California. If you have some information that can help me, please let me know. Thank you.
