Judie,
I have tinkered with the thought of DNA testing.If I could find tests that are reasonably priced so it wouldn't be so hard to recruit participants. Secondly, if I could find someone who is knowlegeable of the different Fannin/Fannon/Fanning lines (such as yourself) who would be willing to try to help me recruit from the various suspected lines to have a wide spectrum represented.
With these two obstacles removed, I would love to get involved.
Wouldn't it be great to get a lead as to whehter your Chestnut John was related to Old Bryan Fannin of Amelia Co. or Edmund's bunch up North, or maybe some other line altogether?
