I hate to complicate things even further, but another possiblity is that Bryant Fanning (b.abt1757)who was the son of Achilles and Rose, had a son William Michael Fanning(b.1797 in Tazewell co, VA and md Jane Penix (1) and Mary Pack(2). William M. and Jane had Henry Fannin b.1826 KY and md Mary Davis 11-29-1847 in Johnson Co., KY and I've aslo seen reference to Arminta Delong as a second spouse. Children I have listed for Henry And Mary are 1. Armilda 2. Christopher Columbus 3. William 4. Monroe 5. Corilda 6. Surilda 7. Joseph "Jasper" 8. Davis "Tad" 9. Zephaniah 10. Michael 11. Henry, Jr. 12. Timothy 13.Trinvilley 14. Mary E. 15. Millard. How does this fit?
