I have a Rachel Fannin daughter of David Fannin and Sarah Sally Day (possibly Cynthia Fraley) of Morgan C.
I have her born in 1820 (some say 1826) and marring John Jenkins of Jennings 5/27/1842 in Morgan co. David born in Virginia abt. 1790, the son of David Fannin b. in Amelia Co. Va. and d. in Floyd co. Indiana. This David is the son of Achilles Fannin of Amelia Co. Va. who is the son of Bryant Fanning of Virginia, the current "road-block" in Fannin/Fanning geneology.

If this is your Rachel, perhaps there was a second marraige. There could be other Rachels, but DAvid and his brother George a seem to be the only Fannins of proper age active in Kentucky at the time of her birth.
Good Luck.

By the way....If this is correct, you are my cousin thru David, my line being through his son Travis.
Tom FAnnin
