The story goes that my family descended from a daughter names Missouri Fannin. Proof was found of her in a letter James Walker Fannin wrote to his half sister Eliza, describing to her his new wife, Minerva, and his new daughter Missouri. My great Aunt also mentioned a Sarah Fannin being a relative.
