I've seen a reference to a Rev. Fannin who lost 2 daughters to the 1884 flood that devastated Ashland and nearby Catlettsburg, KY. Does anyone know anything about Rev. Fannin and his family? I especially want to know the names of all his daughters. My grandmother was Elmira Fannin, who was supposedly born in KY in 1865. I know that one of Elmira's sons eventually lived in Ashland, so thought perhaps he moved there because of family ties. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.
