Do you know know the name of your 1811 David's parents? Have two David's that descend from Bryan Fanning, Sr. David son of Bryan b: c:1720 and Col. David Fanning son of David who was better known as Black David, the infamous loyalist during the Rev. War.

Parts of the family use the Fannin spelling while others kept the Fanning spelling.
