Here's a bit more that I collected since 08
Quentin Bryant Fannin was boorn in 1921 in Elliott Co. and married Alice ____.
His father was Roy Bryant Fannin (1891-1930 and Lana ___ 1894-1930+. They show up in the 1930 census for Newcomb, Elliott Co. Roy had siblings Homer W. 1913, Ennis R. 1915, Lorene 1917, Stella I. 1919 and Rexton 1915. They show up in the 1920 census for Sandy Hook. His father was JAmes H. Fannin (1852-1880) and mother NAncy Holbrook (1854-1880). JAmes H. and family show up in 1870 Sandy Hook and 1880 census. Lots of children including Roy.
JAmes H. is the son of Bryant Fannin (1830-1882) born in Ky, married to Sarah (Sally) Watson (1833-1905) . Bryant and Sarah show up in 1860 census for WEst Liberty, Morgan Co. and 1870 Elliott Co. Sandy Hook. They are buried in Thorneberry CEmetery in Elliott Co. Marriage was MArch 39, 1851.
This Bryant is the son of George FAnnin (1804-1884) and MAry MAgdelene Mumpower (1809-1886). George was born in Russell Co. Va. ad died in Crockett, Morgan Co. Ky. They were married in 1825 in Scott Co. KY (or VA) George is the son of DAvid Fannin (1753-1832) and JAne Lockhart (1757-)
You will find a lot of documentation from here back to Achilles Fannin (1735-1812) and Rose and Bryant Fannin (abt. 1698-1765) and Elizabeth.
