Bryan Fannin (d. 1765) Important Message to Offspring

We are trying to locate any male Fannin, Fannen, Fannan, Fannon or Fanning descendants of Bryan & Elizabeth Fannin(g)
of Amelia Co., Va. Bryan Fannin(g, Sr. died in 1765 in Amelia Co. The purpose is to invite them to join the Fanning DNA Project. This project is growing rapidly and bringing great results to the participants.

Bryan & Elizabeth Fannin(g) had the following sons:
1. David, whose son David was a notorious Tory in NC.
2. Laughlin, who went from Mecklenberg Co., Va. to Elbert Co., Ga. Some descendants may have gone to Tenn.& Alabama.
3. Philip, whose descendants are unknown
4. Bryan Fannin, Jr. who went to Sussex Co., Va.. He married Rachael Rottenbury and had sons John M.Fanning & Bryant Fanning III.
5. Achilles, who married Rose Unknown. He moved to Halifax Co., Va. and later to Montgomery Co., Va. with descendants all over SW Va.,Ky.& Ill.
6. John or Jehu who married Anne. He moved to Halifax Co., Va. and possibly to Grayson Co., Va.
