Forty years ago there was no known marriage date for this couple. Now, on the internet appears their marriage date as 18 Jan 1827 in Jackson Co. AL

What is the DOCUMENTATION for this marriage? The courthouse records burned.

It looks like someone just subtracted 9 months from the birth of the first child.
