Dear Margaret, I found your posts to Ralph Sayre & others on Genealogy.com. Ralph & I have corresponded often over the last several years. It is my belief that Bryant Fannin, who married Louisa Clay, was the son of Joseph Fannin. This Joseph is listed as age 48 in the 1850 Lawrence Co., Ky Federal Census. He is later found in the Carter Co.,Ky. Federal Census. I believe he was one of Joseph's older children. 761 FANNIN, Joseph 48 M Farmer VA (His parents are not known with certainty. m Elizabeth Kitchen??)
