I have a good bit of information on family back through Morgan County, to Wythe and Amelia Co Va. My direct line touches yours...
My Grandfater was John Henry Fannin - born in 1880's at Elk Fork, Great Grandfather was John J Fannin (1841-1916)of Elk Fork, Morgan County, son of Travis Fannin (1819-1899), son of David Fannin Jr. (abt 1790-abt 1867), son of David Fannin (1759-1833)Wythe Co. Va. and early settler in Morgan Co Kentucky (The Latter, I think, is the David Fannin in your line), son of Achilles Fannin Sr. (abt 1735-1812) Amelia and Wythe Co. Va.
If you know George Fannin's brothers, one should be David Jr. Love to trade further info with you or others.
