Thanks Harriet.

This is the family in 1850 that I am looking at:

The 1850 Census of Randolph County, Alabama:

John H Fanning 32 b. Ga
Nancy 27 b. Ga (Nancy Ford)
Jephthah 10 b. Al
Sarah 8 b. Al
William 6 b. Al
Nancy 5 b. Al
Annis 3 b. Al
Irene 3m b. Al

Joseph Ford 28 is living next door.

Also in Randolph county:

William Fanning 38 b. Ga
Nancy Fanning 70 b. Ga b. 1779

I am curious as to who the father of Jahn H Fanning is, and who this older Nancy fanning is living with Willam.

Is there a date of death for Nancy Pierce Fanning? Could this be her? Could she have been divorced from William, or is this a different Nancy?

Who is the John H Fannin that witnessed the will of Godfrey Martin? The above John H Fanning would have only have been 4-8 years old in 1810.

Thanks for any help.
