Your John Hubbard Fannin, brother to my ancestor Benjamin, was in Elbert Co, GA, buying land in the 1790s. I have a feeling he may have gone from there to DeKalb Co, GA. I think I have seen his rather distinctive name when I was in DeKalb and Cobb Counties following my people. I wish I could be more specific and if I come across it again in my wanderings I will let you know.

I have Laughlin's wife (and John H and Benjamin's mother) only speculatively as Winnefred Hubbard. Do you have documentation?
