After corresponding with other Fannin researchers, as of this date, it appears that the Bryant Fannin, b. about 1825, who married Louisa Clay, is the more likely male of that age who was in Joseph's household in 1830 and 1840 censuses. I continue to seek ancestors of Silas, but more importantly where he and his daughter, Rebecca, were after 1887. If anyone finds such information, I would appreciate knowing. Thanks.
