My great-grandmother was Margaret Matilda Fancher, born Feb 23, 1853 in CA. My grandfather (her son) was James LueRoy Myers (born Visalia, CA 4/26/1892...died 9/72 in Santa Rosa, CA). Margaret's husband was Joseph Myers, born Feb 1836 in Illinois. Besides my grandfather, their other children were: George (b. Sep 1880), Charles (b. Dec 1882), Matilda J. (b. March 1885), Sophie (b. June 1888), and Chloie M. (born Oct 1894). All children were born in CA. I have childhood memories of Aunt Chloie & Aunt Sophie visiting our home in Santa Rosa. They drove a big black car & always brought cookies! I believe they settled in the Modesto area. If anyone knows more about this family please write.
