Hi Peg,

My mother's maiden name is Faludi. Apparently, her family changed their name from Folbert to Faludi in around 1932 while they were in Hungary. So we may not be related at all.

I also know a doctor whose mother's maiden name is Faludi. But again, I am probably not related to him because of the name change in 1932.
