Jack, I must make a correction to an email I sent to you earlier. The correction being:'William'(not Jack) Fallin, was the father of William'Crockett'Fallin, who was the father of William Jackson Fallin, and so forth. My grandfather's brother, Lewis Everett Peugh, was a cousin of William Jackson Fallin. (Could this be the connection when Sarah Pugh/Peugh married a Fallin?)"Avern'Peugh, as he was called by family, was helping William 'Jack'son Fallin to establish his own farm there in Erath Co, Texas. William Jackson Fallin had just married a local girl, 15 Oct.1893. Jack Fallin's father, William Crockett Fallin, and family left Texas and returned toGeorgia, after their one year stay in Texas.
In 1884, William Crockett Fallin and family returned to Texas, settling in Bastrop County, southeast of Austin.Staying only one year, they returned to Alabama and Georgia where they remained until 1902. They came again to Texas in 1902, This time back to Erath County, where their son William Jackson Fallin had established his own farm. William Crockett Fallin and family lived many years there in Erath Co.,before moving to Weatherford,Parker County, Texas. William Crockett Fallin died in Weatherford on 5 March 1917 at the age of 71y-9mo-20 days.
He is buried with his wife in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluffdale, Erath Co., Texas. They had lived for a time there in Bluffdale, Erath Co.,Texas with my Peugh family. Both Peugh and Fallin resided in Bluffdale and Morgan Mill. They worked and lived near each other. My father was born in Morgan Mill. Both Bluffdale and Morgan Mill are located north of Stephenville, Texas in a triangular pattern, with approximately 12 miles between each of the three towns. William Crockett Fallin's wife lived to be 98 years of age.
Jack, I am in the process of outlining the Fallin family that we are related to.I will try to email it to you later.I have not forgotten you.We have had major eventsto occur, which required our attention.
I will get back with you.
Rattlemae
