Dear Lisa and All,

I see that I've never responded to Lisa's very long message. I will try to take this step by step:

1. "Charles FALLIN sr was born in Northumberland County about 1646. Charles birth is recorded in St. Stephen's Parish."

Unsupported. I have examined at the St. Stephen's parish register and it contains no indication of Charles [I] Fallin's birth. In this day of photocopies and digital cameras, if anyone can actually document this assertion, please provide us with a copy of the source.

2. "Charles died 16 APR 1701 in Northumberland County, Va."
Correct. See my posting.

3."Jane Eyes Fallin"

Unsupported. I have seen no evidence supporting the assertion that Charles (I) Fallin's wife Jane was, in fact, Jane Eyes. Charles (I) Fallon/Fallin did buy land from Dennis Eyes, but that's the extent of the record. Your note contains no evidence that Dennis Eyes' had a daughter named Jane and no source for a claim that Charles (I) Fallin married that daughter.

After the above entry, your note goes off on a line connected to Charles (I) Fallin's daughter Alice Fallin and her husband William Arledge/Aldridge.

Correct. I too have that marriage in my file. However, it is not in my direct line (which proceeds through Alice's brother Charles (II) Fallin and I do not have enough personal research to confirm the material past that marriage. Some of it appears to be documented and I may add it to my file but, unfortunately, have nothing of my own to add.
