Hello Lynne, I think I have posted this info on other bulletin boards but I am hot on this trail right now. I understand that my gggrandmother is the sister of Father Edward Faller and probably therefore a sister of Bernard. i dont have anything of her parents or other siblings. I found out that Fr Edward Faller immigrated to the US through New Orleans in 1840 and went straight to Vincennes. He was ordained in 1846 and then went to Lanesville, Harrison County, Indiana as his first assignment. My GGgrandmother was Mary Agatha Faller Weissenberger born 1839 in Alsace-Loranine and died 1909 in Perry County, Indiana. Her children were Joesph (died in sawmill accident), Frank, my great-grandfather (died of TB in 1899), and Paulina (raised my grandfather after the death of her brother Frank and his wife in 1898). All in Tell City, Perry County, Indiana. I dont know the path Agatha took to Perry County but she married January Weissenberger (born in Baden) in 1865 in Perry County less than 1 year after he arrived in US. Thanks Jack Haywood Would like any info you can share on Agatha's, Edward's, Bernard's parents, siblings, etc. Thanks. Jack Haywood Notify Administrator about this message?
