As you research this family, please keep your eyes open for any information on the family of Elizabth Fall b. 7/15/1750 Bagby, North Yorkshire, England who married Robert Allison 11/22/1777 in Bagby, North Yorkshire, England. Her father was supposedly William Fall, b. in Topcliffe who married Ann Jones. IF this is my family, Robert's son (or grandson) Robert Allison, b. Crosby Grange, Thursk (family spelling), Yorkshire, 9/30/1796 named his first son, John Fall Allison. This family emigrated to the Oriskany area of Oneida County, New York where my gg grandfather, George Robert, the youngest of the clan, was born. I'm trying to make the connection between the family in England and the one in the US. Thanks for any assistance.
