Yes, Falikovich and Falikov can be related, many times russian oficials will "omit" endings in last names when they register people in ancient times
Could you post more about your Falikoviches here
My search up to day (first post was in May 04) got more details on Falikovs: they were from the place called Tarutino, Bessarabia (now Tarutine, Ukraine), but since those lands are relatively "new", my family most likely came there only in XIX century.
From Where did they come, this is an open question, it might be as well from Karpatu, as well as from Austria or Bulgaria.
Let's look deeper, may be we are parts of the same family, and for the sake of possible other Falikovs coming to read this forum, let's put most of what we know here
