Viola Tallman, wife of George FALES from Missouri to Michigan 1897-1900
I have a very indirect connection to George Francis Fales' wife Viola Victoria Tallman. I need to find out exactly when and why they came to be in SW Missouri in the late 1890s. They were in Iowa in 1880, and in 1900 she was enumerated in Michigan with her sons Herschel and Clarence, married but George was not listed with her. In 1910 she is listed as a widow and living with Herschel and his wife.
My G-grandmother, Edith May Miller, is supposed to have come to Michigan with this family approximately in 1897-1900. I don't know if she was a young child or a teenager at the time. Her mother died about 1897 and for some reason her father let her go to Michigan with this family. She ended up marrying Viola's nephew and lived the rest of her life in Michigan, never seeing her family again, although she did keep in touch with them. Viola's Nephew was Judson Hardy. His mother was Diana Tallman, sister of Viola Tallman Fales
Can anyone place them in Howell or Texas county Missouri in 1897-1900? No one I've contacted from this Fales family so far has any idea about them being in Howell or Texas county, Missouri in this time period
