Hi chuck - thx for the info . What a coincidence - you say Hattie (Rand) worked in accounting dept at Salem Hospital in Salem Massachusetts. My great aunt Edith Rand (1887-1973 - would be Hattie's cousin - their fathers Leander & Wilfred were bros) also worked at Salem Hospital as book keeper most of her life. Early in the 1900's she would sit out back of the hospital after lunch break and shoot the rats! She was nicknamed "Aunty Kit".
Doris and I have been in touch and she was helpfull on the Fales line.
Is the Rand family genealogy query site that you mentioned different than the one on this genforum? I am guessing that you do not check here often as I don't so I will send this to your email address and try to put it in larger font. Take care.
