This is a follow-up of the message I sent re: W. H. Fales.Upon close reading of many research papers, I find that sometimes this gentleman is called Walter E. Fales, sometimes Walter R. Fales.I don't know if they are all one and the same person; I rather think so and there was careless recording of middle initial. However, this Walter (R,E, ?) Fales was involved with the Pacific Nitrate Company as president searching for nitrates in the So. Death Valley Region from 1899-at least 1918.Seemingly had an office in downtown Los Angeles and was affiliated somehow with a Frank Robbins and a George B. Ellis. It seems Fales was a chemist who did assay work on minerals.Hopefully, someone in the Fales family can tell me more about my Walter ??Fales. Thanks in advance.
