I was in touch with a descendant of this James Falconer. If you contact me I'll give you her e-mail address. Apparently he was a Loyalist soldier in North Carolina and claimed descent from the Falconers of Halkerton. I've published a genealogy of the Falconers of Halkerton, but never found a link. James Falconer married Catharine, sister of Nicholas Hagarman, a Loyalist from New York. James arrived at Adolphustown on 16 June 1784.
