John,

Thanks for the information... I did knowc about Craig but had accidentally left him off.. In 1851, The brothers James and David were living with their sister Elizabeth and her husband Thomas Nimmo, and thir first son Thomas in Dalkeith... Their second son Fobert Falconer Nimmo was not born till 1857.

Richard Falconer died April 15, 1867 at home on Croft Street, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland, age 66, of valvular disease of the heart over 8 years, at 6:26 AM. His wife died March 26, 1884 at 54 High Street, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland, age 82, of senile dibility.

I have never found their marrige record.

Their son William the tin and brass manufaturer had his store on the high street.

Two of his brass lamps can be seen on the http://miningartifacts.homestead.com/oilwickcaplamps.html web site.

I'll have to get a copy of the 1841 for cockpen and look.

I have copies of the documents from Registrar House of most of the birth, death and marrige records stored on my computer.

Bob Nimmo
