Hi Linda,
I have only traced my direct ancestors, not their siblings; however Henry Drummond and Jane Stirling had a son Henry. Henry married Margaret Farquhar, and they had a son John Alexander. He married Margaret Shields and they had two daughters. The elder was my mother Amelia. She married Arthur Nickerson. I have two brothers, a son and a daughter and three grandsons.
The only birth date I could find for an Alexander Falconer that was consistent with when and where he lived was 12th September 1775 in Inveresk/Musselburgh. If this is correct then his parents are John Falconer and Margaret Thornton (this would also tie in with my grandfather being called John Alexander). John and Margaret's banns were posted in the parish of Temple in Midlothian. He would appear to be the same John who was born to James Falconer and Janet Ripeth, again in Temple.
Regards
Jim
