James and Ruth Falconer

Looking for someone who can help with this family.
James Falconer and wife Ruth moved into Alberta, Canada. We are not certain of the year they moved there. At one time they lived in Wisconsin. We were thinking they were in Wisconsin for 1880 Census but we did not find them listed.
We know this much on the family;
James Falconer, father
Ruth Falconer, mother
Josephine Jeanette Falconer, born 9/18/1867
(She married Joseph Manis / Magnes 1890 and moved into TN after that.)
Elizabeth (may also have nickname of Violet )
Angess, Frank and Thomas were later children added to the family.
Our interest in this family is Josephine Jeanette.
We are searching to find this family listed in 1880 Census somewhere.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
(Trying to help out a friend. I do not research this line.)
