It appears we belong to the same family. According to my records, William Falconer was born January 12, 1807 in Kincardineshire and died June 23, 1890 in New Castle. I believe we got confirmation of those dates from a tombstone in Miramashi, NB. He married Elizabeth Johnstone July 17, 1831. She died in New Castle Feb 13, 1879. I have much other information about the family later but other than William's older brother Robert born in 1803, I do not have any older family information. We have not been able to trace the genealogy earlier in Scotland. I would be happy to share what I have by mail since my Family Tree computer program went down recently and I will need to restore the information when I return to Portland, OR in April. Currently I am a volunteer at Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, AK.
