No..all I have is a reference to him and his family in Madison Indiana in the 1860 census. In it he was noted as a stonemason from scotland. His wife was Elisabeth also from Scotland. I dont have a middle initial for James and there seems to be no shortage of James in the tree! That added to the fact that I am a rank amature in Geneology...I have a feeling that if I can make the connection between James and the old country the rest of the work is probably already done by someone.
As one more twist of irony...my wife is a descendent of the ole Duke of Sutherlin.
