I hate to sound like an advertiser, but my book *Falconer of Halkerton* includes a section on the Jamaican branch. This descends from John Falconer (d. 1768), younger son of David, 4th Lord Falconer of Halkerton. John's son Thomas Keith Falconer (b. 1761, d. after 1808) had a "mestee" (1/8 black) son, John Craskell Falconer (1798-1875), of Queensbury, St. Elizabeth parish. This last person is Fausteen's ancestor and no doubt yours. For the book I traced all the Falconers in the birth records before 1920. If your mother or other family was born before that year, she or they are probably listed in the book.
