Thanks for your response. My reason for inquiring in the Falconer forum is to locate my great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth (born between 1813 and 1821). I do not know her maiden name, only that she was born between 1813 adn 1821. All I know about her ancestry is that on the 1900 census she said that her father was born in Maryland and her mother was born inNorth Carolina. M great-great-grandfather, Haley W. Howard her her (his 2nd? wife) in the late 1830's. Haley was born in 1797 in Edgefield, SC, and lived in Montgomery Co. Alabama. I have read through the Montgomery census data and listed the few families with Maryland roots hoping to find someone researching one of those families who may be able to give me a lead. The Falconer family of Montgomery Co. fits into my list of possibilities.

Again, thanks for responding.
Paul Howard
