The information that Ann, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Newkirk) Falconer, married George Smedley comes from information passed down in the family of Cyrus Falconer, of Hamilton, Ohio. It must have been written in the 1850s from information written by Elizabeth (Falconer) Freeman (1805-1878). There is no further information on Ann or George. It does say that Isaac Falconer (1781-1840) married Nancy Wilkins, daughter of Samuel and Agnes (Smedley) Wilkins (Nancy was born 24 July 1789 and died 17 November 1854; dates are from her grave). It says that "Nancy Wilkins maternal Grandfather John Smedly came from Baden in Germany as also his wife. He was born in 1732, the same year as Washington, imigrated to Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1750. They had seven children. The old man died in Flemingsburg Ky., Mason County. Agnus, the Mother of Nancy Falconer died also in Mason Co. Sussannah married a Mr. Fitch and removed to Pike County, Ohio. Elizabeth who married Abram Falconer is now living. Agnes Smedly married to Samuel Wilkins in 1787. Samuel Wilkins father was named John, came from near London, came to America in easy circumstances."

It says that "Ann married Geo. Smedley and they live on The Ohio River." I found George J. Smedley in Adams County, Ohio, in 1820, in Lawrence County, in 1830, and Scioto County, in 1840. Do you have any information on them, such as dates, children, etc.?
