Andy, you`ve done me proud. I congratulate you on your researches. It`s late so meantime here`s an excerpt from notes I compiled some time ago. Hope you can follow it. I hav to update some info, particularly on the Canadian side. Hector emigrated, so did his sister Barbara who I don`t think you traced. She too was on Handa and next time I`ll look out some messages I exchanged with the Canadians and forward them. here are my notes:

GENERATION 3 JOHN FALCONER
2.12.1795 James Falconer m Mary Morison at Inverness [he was a private in the Caithness Fencibles stationed at Fort George and appears to have been discharged by 1797]. In 1841 lived at Kinseally (Ceannsalie) on the NW coast of Eddrachilles which was cleared of the tenants for a sheep farm in the mid 1840s. No trace of James or Mary in 1851 census. Their children
