Leroy was born in Central City, IA to Robert Lynn Falcon (also believed to have been from Central City, IA) and Marie (Shank) Falcon.

Marie was originally from Amana, IA; Marie's mothers maiden name was Kennedy.

Robert & Marie moved to Pleasant Prairie, WI when Leroy was a small child so Robert could find work at the automobile plant in Kenosha.
