Joined the French Marines with his brother Jean and left for New France in 1687.

Lived in St Jean D'Angelie (near LaRochelle)

Had 13 children with his young bride.

All Falardeau's in N.A. descend from Guillaume. Most live around Quebec City. Many in Montreal and quite a few in the US. Most descending from French Canadian Immigrants who came to the US in the late 19th century.

I only came here 10 years ago from Montreal but my late father was born in Quebec city.
