I have been looking at my Buchanan family and have only recently started to research Fairlie links. I see from another of your postings that we have Tombraik Farm in common. My G.G. Grandmother was Christina Fairlie b. about 1805 in Balfron and died 3.7.1884. I have her Wedding Bans which give the spelling of the farm name as above. These are dated 16 June 1837 and she married William Bauchop 1806 - 1872. I would be interested to learn about Christina's family, I have quite a lot of information about the Buchanan and Bauchop families.
