James Fairley & wife, Anne Mould, of Durham Co., had son, James (wife was Nellie Lawrence). They came to U.S. ca. 1880, along with Jame's sister, Mary Jane and her husband, James Brown. Settled first around Coal City, Ill. From there, went to Pittsburgh, Pa. area.
James & Nellie Fairley had one adopted son, Theodore who m. Agnes_____,
James & Mary Jane (Fairley) Brown also were in same areas. James & Mary Jane had 7 children.. Florence, Jimmy, Margaret, Ethelbert, George, Thomas, Selina. Mary Jane died following birth of John Frederick who also died...1891. James Brown later m. Caroline Bair and they had 3 children...Clark, Nellie, and William Brown.
