Hi
The Fairfield Family has a website in which your folks and their descendants are listed. If authorized, or if you want to write to my e-mail address directly, I can provide the link to that site.
It lists Sarah Fairfield (b. 21 Dec 1655) as the wife of Thomas Abbey. It lists in detail their children, etc.
The site lists Sarah as the daughter of Walter Fairfield (b.1631 England) & Sarah Skipper.
Actually, I am also a descendant of Walter Fairfield and his wife Sarah, whose last name was actually SKEPPER.
My ancestor is their daughter Prudence (b.18 April 1680) who married Lieutenant William Dodge.
And regarding the Skepper family - Sarah Skepper was a daughter of Rev. Wm. Skepper, who arrived in Mass. about 1639 from England.
And Rev. Skepper is one of those famous British immigrant families who had proven royal and historic ancestry. He is detailed in recent books by LDS genealogist Douglas Richardson - Plantagenet Ancestry and Magna Carta Ancestry, which lists about 150/200 such immigrant families.
Rev. Skepper had many famous royal ancestors of the Middle Ages.
In this context, I have in my ancestry besides Rev. Wm. Skepper, Mayflower Passenger Richard More, who was the only person on the Mayflower with royal ancestry. Richard More's ancestry is also detailed in the Richardson books.
I do have some data put together about Rev. Skepper's ancestry and can send an excerpt to your e-mail address as an attachment.
