Hi Alton: My name is Deb and I have a Sarah Fairfield who married a Thomas Abbe 16 Dec 1683 in Marblehead, MA. Thomas Abbe was born in Wenham and died in Enfield, CT 17 May 1728. I have Sarah's father listed as Walter Fairfield of Wenham, but no definitive birth/deathdates & places. Walter evidently acted as attorney for Thomas Abbe in the handling of his father's estate abt 1690 in Salem. I just looked at my notes & the information was great info obtained from a posting by Jeremy Ward on genforum 22 Feb, 2002. He has compiled a great deal of excellent info on Thomas Abbe. Walter would be my 9th gr. grandparent and Thomas and Sarah (Fairfield) Abbe are my 8th greats. I haven't been researching much the last couple of years due to family illnesses. Would like to learn about your connections. Deb
