Hello Gary,my name is John Linden.I was born in Scotland in 1955.My Father was born in Barrhill,Ayrshire in 1933.I have been researching my family Tree(Linden)and have some info on Mary Fairfield,my Gt.Gt.Gt.Gt Grandmother born in Co Down in 1791(exactly where i cant find out but would love to know.She Married James linden(Gt.Gt.Gt.Gt.Grandfather) who died aged 41.My Gt.Gt.Gt.Grandfather born in 1814 in Co Down moved to Colmonell in Ayrshire Scotland circa 1834.Mary Fairfield moved to Colmonell circa 1842 and married a William Aitken there on 16/1/1842.She died on 26/3/1855 aged 64 having lived there for 13 years(all info from her Death Certificate).Her Parents names were Richard Fairfield (Agricultural Labourer)and Mary Fairfield (maiden name illegible)Hope this may be of some help to you as I have now gone as far as I can at the moment.If you can help in any way with the Irish side of the Linden and Fairfield Families I would be very Gratefull.Best Luck in your research.John Linden.
