Dear Mary Catherine,

I can't believe it!!!!!!! I too am looking for the parents of Isiah Faircloth.
Isiah and Mary Letty Annabellis Faircloth are my GGGgrandparents.
Their son, James Faircloth is my GGgrandfather.
How are you related?

The information I have is slightly different from yours. I have however, as you do, that Mary Letty was a Faircloth. I have that her parents were Arthur and Mary Faircloth.

Isiah Faircloth (b.12-19-1825 d.9-2-1888) married Mary Letty Faircloth (b.6-12-1826 d. 4-15-1895)

Their children were:
Tobias (b. 4-19-1846)
James (b. 5-8-1848) (my GGgrandfather) married Annie Maranda Culbreth
Mary (b. 6-10-1849) married Amos Beard
Oliver (b. 5-15-1851) married Anne Edge
Sarah L (b. 7-18-1853)
Alexander (b. 4-21-1855) married Susan Beard
Daniel Marshall (called Jule) (b. 3-8-1857) married Tina Smith
Catherine Adeline (b. 2-12-1859 d. 5-13-1903) married Peter Smith 8-5-1877
Isaiah Devander (b. 3-21-61) married Ida Horne
Columbia Ann (b. 1-19-1866) married Dexter Odum
William Chester married Ida Simmons
Letty Doshia married Jefferson Davis Simmons

This info came from a descendant of Catherine Faircloth. She provided my cousin with a picture of Isiah and Mary Letty with Catherine.
It seems that Isiah is a stumbling block.
Please let me hear from you.
Sincerely,
Jay Faircloth
